Interview with PAXTON INGRAM

We are exited to announce our next artist for this series! Paxton Ingram is a singer/songwriter who brings his new single, "Bad Luck" to us. Paxton is a journeyman that has delighted us with his powerful voice and incredible vibes. He hit stardom when he participated on the Voice 2016, and received a standing ovation from all 4 judges. 

Siglo Events: When did you realize that you wanted to be a performer?

Paxton Ingram: Was it something that you knew since you can remember or did something or someone influenced you into the music industry? Being a performer has always been in my blood. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry.

S.E.- What was Paxton first gig?

P.I.-  My first gig was during a college football halftime show. Me and my friends came up with the choreography and costumes and it  was a big spectacle LOL. I considered it as a “rehearsal for the Super Bowl”

S.E- How has been the journey after the Voice?

P.I- My journey after The Voice has been very rewarding. A lot of ups and downs but it’s been an amazing process and journey thus far. Still excited about whats to come but without The Voice I don’t believe I would’ve gotten this far.

S.E- What is this song about and what was the intention behind it?

P.I.- Bad Luck is about chasing something toxic. With me it ’s usually a relationship that I force to happen, I learned I was the problem and I had to deal with it .

S.E.- What can we expect from Paxton this year?

P.I.- Lots of new music, lots of exciting things that my fans will be psyched to hear about, this year is looking like it ’s going to be an amazing one so far.
